- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: The mosque is opened Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday it will be closed. Here you can admire the second largest handmade carpet in the world and the famous chandelier in the main prayer hall. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Opened in 2001, this stunning marble mosque is one of the largest in the Gulf, with room to accommodate 20,000 worshipers. The mosque is built from 300,000 tonnes of Indian sandstone. The main musalla or prayer hall is square and 74.4 by 74.4 metres (244 by 244 feet) with a central dome rising to a height of 50 metres (160 ft) above the floor.
Dress code: Visitors are required to dress modestly, cover the entire arms and legs, and not wear too tight clothing. · Women and girls aged seven and above must cover their hair.
TAKE NOTE: That every FRIDAY the mosque are closed - Royal Opera House: Then drive by the Opera House visit from inside
or photo stop.

Majesty Royal Highness Sultan Qaboos. It is flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts. - Mutrah Souq: Walk along the corniche to the famous Mutrah Souq, a colorful market,you will find an assortment of souvenirs, antiques, and delightful treasures.
- Bait Al Zubair: Mirani & Jalali. Then visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, a nice small private Omani heritage you can see typical Omani dresses, weapons, and jewelry etc.
